A direct message is a private conversation between you and one other member. Only the two of you can read it.

Only the text you type is sent. Photos and code snippets added to a direct message are not sent yet. If your message does not appear in the conversation after you send it, it was not sent. Type it again.
Start a conversation

Find the member
Tap
Members, then tap their name. On their profile, tapSend Message. - 2
Or open your conversations
On
Members, tapDirect Messages. Pick a member from the list, or search for one. - 3
Write and send
Type in the box at the bottom and tap
Send. On a phone,Sendshows as an arrow.✓ Your message appears on the right, in green, with the time.
On a phone, tap the back arrow at the top left to return to the list.
Good to know
- Other members cannot read your conversations.
- Replies do not appear on their own. Open the conversation again to see new messages.
- There are no message notifications yet. Check
Direct Messagesfor replies. - If either of you deletes their membership, the conversation is deleted for both of you.
